What it actually charges, and how fast

The important clarification: the GAA18V-48N is an 18V-only accessory. It bridges an 18V battery to USB and DC devices; it is not a cross-Bosch-platform bridge like the GAX1218V-30. It’s not built to accept a 12V Max or 10.8V Max battery. For that job, the dual-bay charger is the correct tool.
What this does and does not mean
The GAX1218V-30 is a charging bridge only. No Bosch page says a 12V Max or 10.8V Max battery can run an 18V tool, or that an 18V battery can run a 12V Max tool, and this guide is not suggesting any such tool-level or battery-level interchangeability either.
