HP batteries and Brushless tools: a real exception worth knowing
The 18V ONE+ LITHIUM+ HP 6.0Ah battery is designed to pair with “over 100 tools from RYOBI’s 18V ONE+ lineup” through HP communication technology when used with Brushless tools. This is not a second platform total; it is a narrower subset defined by HP/Brushless pairing.
RYOBI also includes a specific limitation: “HP Performance does not apply to Brushless Lawn & Garden Products.” That is a named exception worth keeping in mind.
